Apparently, statistically, someone with motor insurance is more likely to pay a higher premium with a Hotmail e-mail address as such people have submitted more claims in the past. Of course, insurers do rely quite a bit on statistics when it comes to deciding on the level of risk a motorist presents and hence the amount they are going to charge for providing the cover.
